POLL: Should Fire and Ice win its appeal?

The 807 Fire and Ice is appealing the Chattanooga Beer and Wrecker board's decision to revoke its beer license, court records show.

The Beer Board unanimously voted to revoke the club's permit at its Oct. 20 meeting. Fire and Ice, located at 807 Market St., called the decision "capricious, arbitrary unlawful and without substantial and material evidence supporting it," in its petition filed in Hamilton County Chancery Court Wednesday.

In the past two months, Fire and Ice faced the Beer Board twice for two reported disorderly crowd incidents. The board suspended the club's license for 30 days at a September meeting before they voted to revoke it on Oct. 20.

Midtown Music Hall, whose beer license was revoked by the beer board in September, is also appealing the decision against them, court records show.
