University of Tennessee at Chattanooga defensive tackle Keyon Reed was arrested Sunday by UTC police, who had a warrant from a domestic assault charge stemming from a Sept. 6 incident at an ex-girlfriend's off-campus home.

Mocs coach Russ Huesman said he was looking into the situation, but otherwise had no comment. A decision will be made on Reed's future once more information is available and Huesman discusses the situation with UTC athletic director Rick Hart.

Reed has started two of the No. 17-ranked Mocs' three games and has five tackles, including two sacks. He also has two fumble recoveries.
