Two Catoosa County school buses were found burned near a baseball park in Ringgold, Ga., Sunday morning.
The buses were found in a parking lot near the Jack Mattox Baseball Park, according to Marissa Brower, Catoosa County Board of Education spokeswoman. Fort Oglethorpe Fire Department spokesman Doug Flurry also confirmed the buses had been found, but he said he did not know any details.
Brower said it was likely that the school buses were part of the active fleet for the Catoosa County school system.
School hasn't begun for the year at Catoosa County schools and the buses were not being used, according to Brower.
She said the fire department is investigating.
