A 27-year old Chattanooga man was shot Thursday night.
About 10:30 p.m., police found Benjamin Mendez with a gunshot wound to the leg at 1613 S. Kelly St., according to police spokesman Officer Nathan Hartwig.
The wound was not life-threatening, Hartwig said.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525 or Crime Stoppers at 423-698-3333.
