The Hamilton County Board of Education will host a special-called work session at Tyner Academy on Tuesday.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss school administrators' proposed rezoning plan of East Hamilton Middle/High School and several area elementary schools.
Since the plan was unveiled about a week ago, parents have begun organizing to express their opposition to the rezoning and pitch their own solutions to relieve overcrowding at schools on the county's east side.
The meeting is set for 5 p.m. in Tyner's auditorium at 6836 Tyner Road.
