Police investigate motorcycle death in Calhoun, Ga.

Calhoun police are investigating the death of a 25-year-old man killed when he crashed his motorcycle.

Charles James, of Calhoun, Ga., was found lying on the Victory Drive at 7:35 a.m. today, who died as emergency responders were treating him, said Chief Garry Moss in a news release.

The preliminary investigation shows James' motorcycle veered off the road, struck a small retaining wall, then hit a utility pole, Moss said. Why James went off the road is unknown.

Moss said police are looking for a reason for what caused the accident.
