Ernest Leon EdmondsA 50-year-old Alabama man has been arrested on marijuana charges, officials said.
Ernest Leon Edmonds of Stevenson, Ala., is charged with first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. Bond set at $3,000 and he remains in jail at this time.
On Tuesday, authorities searched a home on County Road 261 in Stevenson and found marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a pistol and $4,662 cash, the release said.
