POLL: Should minimum wage be raised?

As fast food workers across the nation prepare a new wave of strikes to raise their wages, Chattanooga service industry workers, along with Occupy Chattanooga, Chattanooga for Workers and Move to Amend Chattanooga, join in the National Day Against Low Pay Demonstration at the Brainerd McDonald's restaurant.

The protesters picketed the McDonald's at Brainerd and Moore Roads around noon. The local protest is part of a nationwide effort to boost the minimum wage from $7.25 up to $15 an hour.
