Erlanger Health System has reported its having received the highest level of Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care.
Erlanger said it got the Cycle IV Chest Pain Center accreditation with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI).
A news release said the Cycle IV accreditation is awarded for a three-year period and is the highest and most difficult level of certification to get.
Erlanger said it is the first and only facility in the region to earn the Cycle IV accreditation.
