Steve Setser has been screening movies at Swan Drive-In Theatre in Blue Ridge, Ga., for more than 40 years; he's owned the theater for almost 25 years.

But this summer, for the first time, he and the theater actually will be in a movie.

Sometime in June, makers of the film "Need for Speed," based on the popular video game, are scheduled to spend two nights at his business, filming what Setser believes is some sort of car show or rally that kicks off the film.

"I haven't seen the script," the 60-year-old Blue Ridge native said, "but I think this is at the beginning of the movie and then the rest of it is about a cross-country race from New York to Los Angeles."

According to IMDB.com, actor Aaron Paul, who has won two Emmys as Jesse Pinkman in the AMC series "Breaking Bad," is one of the lead actors. Michael Keaton ("Beetlejuice," "Batman") also is listed in the film along with Dominic Cooper ("Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Killer," "Captain America: The First Avenger").

To make sure there are plenty of people at the show/rally, filmmakers are holding a casting call in Blue Ridge on March 30. Those cast in the movie will be paid and the amount will be discussed at the casting call, the release said.

Attempts to reach Tammy Smith Casting in Atlanta were unsuccessful, but a news release from the company said they'll be looking for men, women and cars.

When it comes to people, they want:

• Men and women with cars, ages 18 to 65.

• Men and women without cars, ages 18 to 65, to play spectators.

• Attractive girlfriend/wife types, ages 18-40.

In cars, they need:

• Vintage cars and trucks (1950 through 1973).

• Muscle cars (1964 through 1972).

• Pro-touring, Rat Rods, Tuners, Hellaflush and current-year, high-performance cars.

However, they cannot use white or red cars, the release stated, and if you have a car but can't bring it to the casting call, you can send a clear photo of it to the casting company.

Dress is casual and photos of potential extras -- cars and humans -- will be taken, the release said.

Setser said he was told that a total of about 200 cars and people will be needed for the scenes. He believes location scouts discovered his theater and alerted filmmakers.

He said he's going to be one of the extras and so is the blue 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air he has owned for 30 years, a car that's front and center at www.swan-drive-in.com, the theater's website.
