Operator of Nashville Zoo train drunk on job

The operator of a miniature train at the Nashville Zoo has been fired after admitting to being drunk on the job.

The Wilderness Express Train has tires and runs on a circular concrete path rather than rails.

WSMV-TV reports the train operator made two circuits of the train on Thursday afternoon before dropping some tokens and then falling down while trying to retrieve them.

Zoo officials said the operator was 24 years old but declined to give the person's name.
