TVA gives $50,000 to United Way of Greater Chattanooga

The Tennessee Valley Authority has given $50,000 to the United Way of Greater Chattanooga for the eighth consecutive year, according to a news release.

The gift will be used to support United Way partner agencies, schools, neighborhoods and nonprofit groups in the Chattanooga area, the release stated.

"In addition to providing low-cost, reliable power, TVA is committed to helping improve the lives of the people in the Tennessee Valley," TVA Chief Information Officer Dan Traynor said in a release.
