Enovate to add 410 jobs at new headquarters in Murfreesboro

A growing maker of mobile medical computer stations will locate its U.S. headquarters in Murfreesboro, Tenn., adding 410 jobs in Rutherford County.

Enovate Medical, a manufacturer of work stations and medication transport-storage systems, announced today it will invest $13.1 million to expand operations in Murfreesboro.

"The expansion will include our corporate headquarters, manufacturing, and R&D facilities located in Murfreesboro," Enovate Medical President and CEO Nick Mendez said in a statement today.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam said the Volunteer State "is globally known as a center for innovative healthcare solutions and research" with $3.6 billion of medical device exports around the world in 2013.

"The medical device industry is an important and growing part of our state's strong economy, and today's announcement supports our goal of becoming the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs," Haslam said in a statement.

Enovate Medical, designs space-saving, ergonomically correct and comfortable-to-use, wall-mounted computer workstations, mobile computer workstations for the healthcare market.

The company said the move stems from the consolidation of the company's operations in Canton, Mich.
