Three arrested after marijuana found growing in backyard

Three people were arrested Thursday on Aldhouse Avenue in Bridgeport, Ala., after three marijuana plants were discovered growing in the back yard of the home there.

Members of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Stevenson Police Department and Bridgeport Police Department charged Michael E. Blevins, 52; Connie A. Parker, 48, and Carl T. Adcock, 39, all of Bridgeport.

Each suspect was charged with possession of marijuana 2nd degree, according to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

All were transported to the Jackson County Jail without incident.
