Jim HammondHamilton County Sheriff Jim Hammond holds a wide lead over Chris Harvey in the Republican primary for Hamilton County sheriff.
Hammond has received 8,628 votes from the reporting precincts while Harvey, a patrol sergeant in the sheriff's office, has gotten 3,934 votes. The winner of tonight's primary will run unopposed in August's general election.
