Police detonated a suspicious package at the SunTrust Bank on Lee Hwy.The Chattanooga Police Department detonated a suspicious package at a SunTrust Bank at 7001 Lee Highway this morning.
A call came in around 8:30 a.m. that there was a "well-taped" cardboard box and another package in front of the ATM.
The bank requested that it be treated as a real threat and Chattanooga Police Department bomb techs responded.
The suspicious package ended up being clothes and paper, police said.
