Steven Kelley, 23, and Jordan Craig, 26, were arrested after the body of Kenneth Johnson was found in a ditch off Blackford Street on Nov. 13. Police say the pair robbed and beat Johnson to death after luring him onto the street with a call for help.

Johnson's car was found ransacked, and police tracked his cellphone to Craig. She told police she met Johnson and brought Craig, who hid in the backseat of her car and attacked Johnson in her defense after Johnson propositioned her.

Kelley told police that Johnson attacked him with a crowbar after he propositioned Craig, and that he fought back.

Craig and Kelley are scheduled for arraignment before Judge Rebecca Stern on May 1.
