Dalton woman sought in gunpoint robbery

Police have warrants for the arrest of 20 year old Kelsey Brooke Smith of 309 Rowena Street on charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, and two counts of false imprisonment. Two other suspects have already been arrested in the case.

Two suspects are in custody and Dalton, Ga., police are looking for a third in an armed robbery on June 12.

Police said the victim was at home on Dude Street in Dalton when his friend Quindarus Jy'Kwon Fleming knocked on his door about 9 p.m. The victim didn't know the man and woman with Fleming, but he invited them into the living room where his brother joined them.

The strange man pulled a handgun and held the brothers at gunpoint while Fleming and the woman secured them with zip ties and rifled the home. The robbers took several items, including a Droid Max cellphone, and Xbox 360, and approximately $400 in cash, and left in a maroon GMC Envoy.

Police soon found the Envoy and arrested Fleming, 19, of Shugart Road, and Dikembe Olajuwon Ester, also 19. Both are charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and two counts of false imprisonment.
