Police seek Kenneth Dixon Jr. in Sunday morning Rawlings Street shooting

A local man was shot and wounded this morning during a verbal altercation with two people in the 2000 block of Rawlings Street, according to Chattanooga police.

Marcus Fortson, age 31, suffered a non-life threatening gun shot wound around 8:30 a.m. Sunday and was taken to the hospital after arguing with Kenneth Dixon Jr. and Milton Evans Jr. police said in a release.

Dixon has multiple warrants out for attempted first degree murder, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, criminal conspiracy, and aggravated robbery. Evans has been arrested for aggravated robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm and criminal conspiracy.
