Two pedestrians were struck on Birmingham Highway Tuesday night, according to the Chattanooga Police Department.
The two parties were apparently walking on the highway around 7 p.m. when they were struck by a single vehicle. Both parties were transported to a local hospital.
One victim died from their injuries at the hospital. The other victim is responsive.
Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding the incident to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing.
