Adam Blake MahathyA man is charged with attempted murder after he allegedly attacked another man with a hammer in Bradley County.
The sheriff's office says 27-year-old Adam Blake Mahathy, of Rogersville, Ala., tried to use a key to enter a residence occupied by a former girlfriend.
The incident reportedly happened at Burke Ridge Drive Wednesday morning.
Mahathy allegedly attacked a visitor there, 35-year-old Paul McClary of Delano, with a hammer, striking him in the head and face.
Mahathy fled and was arrested in Acworth, Ga. He also faces charges of aggravated burglary.
