Chattanooga police say they have identified the man they believe fired a handgun outside Hamilton Place mall on Saturday night.
Police are searching for Jeremy Wynn, 18, on warrants for felony reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and possession of a firearm with intent to go armed.
Police said a verbal argument sprang up inside the mall Saturday night and the disputants went outside. The group had broken up and people were heading toward their cars when someone fired a single shot toward some of the others, then ran back inside the mall, police said. No one was injured.
Investigators said they would review security videos to try to identify the shooter.
