Metro Homicide Unit Commander Gary Hood says witnesses told police Tuesday that the 22-year-old victim knowingly drank a beverage laced with a controlled substance and passed out inside an apartment.
Hood says witnesses told investigators that 20-year-old Donald King, 19-year-old Eddie Harris Jr., 18-year-old Fredrick Shaw and 25-year-old DeAndre Dussett had sex with the woman while she was unconscious.
Hood says the men admitted to having sex with the victim and are being held on $30,000 bond each. Authorities say the woman's condition doesn't appear to be life threatening.
Hood says Dussett is also charged with possession of a controlled substance and is held on an additional $10,000 bond. It's unclear if they have attorneys.
