A second suspect from Winchester, Tenn., has been charged in the Sept. 14 slaying of a Shelbyville woman whose son was arrested a few days earlier in another homicide in Fayetteville, 25 miles away.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents captured 30-year-old Earl Antonio Taylor at the Scottish Inn hotel in Manchester. There was no struggle, and local authorities from Manchester and the U.S. Marshal's Office helped the in arrest.

Taylor, who was listed on the TBI's Top 10 Most Wanted list, now is being held along with 30-year-old David Darrell Fletcher on charges of criminal homicide in the shooting death of 45-year-old Angela Kibble. Fletcher was charged Oct. 8 while he was in custody in Coffee County on unrelated charges.

Bedford County Jail officials said the bond set for both men stands at $2 million each, and both are scheduled to appear in court Oct. 28.

Meanwhile, TBI officials remain tight-lipped, having little to say about other suspects or additional charges.

"The case also remains an active and open investigation, so we aren't able to address other potential subjects that may be involved, or potential additional charges at this time," TBI spokeswoman Susan Niland said in an emailed response.

The TBI also hasn't said whether Kibble's slaying is linked to another homicide in which her son was charged a few days before she was shot dead.

"We aren't able to speak to any motives or connections to other crimes at this stage in our investigation," Niland said.

Kibble's son, 29-year-old Michael Domonic Sales, was taken into custody on Sept. 13 on charges related to the slaying of 19-year-old Fayetteville resident Carlton Capone Caruth. Like Taylor, Sales was placed on the TBI's Top 10 list prior to his arrest.

Caruth was killed Sept. 6 - Labor Day weekend - during an argument with Sales at a gameroom on South Main Avenue in Fayetteville. According to a report on WHNT television in Hunstville, Ala., Caruth's mother said her son is the second of her children to be shot to death as a teenager. Her oldest daughter, Cayra Caruth, was 19 when she was killed outside a party in Nashville in November 2002.
