The daughter of a Hamilton County Sessions Court Judge was indicted last week for filing a false report and aggravated perjury, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Christina Starnes Evans, 27, turned herself into authorities Thursday after the Hamilton County Grand Jury returned indictments earlier that week charging her with three total counts. She was booked and released after posting a $7,500 bond.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said agents were probing an October 2014 incident but offered no other details.

Evans, the daughter of judge Gary Starnes, was previously charged with assault in July 2012 after her estranged husband told police she keyed his truck during a heated argument.

According to the arrest report, her husband said they had been arguing all day. At their home later that day, Christina Starnes Evans keyed the driver's side door then hurled Coca-Cola on the truck.

When she tried to leave in her car, her husband told police he grabbed her keys to stop her. He and another witness said Christina Starnes Evans then began hitting her husband in the face.
