Samuel VaughnA college student has been arrested after Gallatin police say he raped a 12-year-old girl.
Samuel Vaughn, 19, was arrested Wednesday and is charged with eight counts of rape of a child, according to a release from the Gallatin Police Department. He is currently being held in the Sumner County Jail on $250,000 bond.
Police began investigating the case after the victim told her mother about what happened, according to the release. The investigation has also led to possible numerous other victims and additional charges are pending.
