Police seek missing Calhoun, Ga., man

Calhoun, Ga., police and investigators from Clay County, N.C., are looking into the disappearance of 27-year-old Sean Patrick McDuffy of Calhoun, a news release states.

McDuffy, last seen on Sunday, Dec. 20, had planned a trip to North Carolina from which he was scheduled to return within a day or two. A friend spoke to him by phone on Dec. 21 at about 6:30 p.m., and that is the last contact anyone has had with McDuffy since, Chief Garry Moss said.

"We have interviewed approximately ten (10) to twelve (12) people pertaining to this investigation, and are continuing to follow up on numerous leads. Detectives in North Carolina have expressed concerns of foul play in his disappearance, due to evidence uncovered in their jurisdiction," Lt. Tony Pyle said in the release.
