Truck stolen from Lincoln, Ala., recovered near Crossville in DeKalb County

A call on Saturday led DeKalb County, Ala., deputies and Crossville Police Department officers to a residence on County Road 192 where they talked with the homeowner and, after obtaining a search warrant, conducted a search that turned up a stolen truck and other reportedly stolen items.

Rachel Jones Crane, 38, of Crossville, was charged with receiving stolen property, first degree. There was no bond amount listed on her arrest record.

"We want to encourage everyone to continue to call 256-845-3801 or email your tips to our website www.dekalbcountysheriff.org," DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said in a statement on the arrest.

"This tip that we received led us to the stolen vehicle and other items that were stolen. The Deputies, Crossville Police and Investigators did a great job on following up on this lead and making this arrest," he said.
