McKamey animal services is on the lookout for a suspect who allegedly threw a small black dog out of a moving car early Thursday afternoon.

According to a Facebook post on the organization's timeline, the suspect was driving black Challenger or Charger with tinted windows in front of the Dollar Store on Lee Highway around noon.

The post says the occupants of the car drove through the parking lot at a high speed, rolled down the passenger window and threw out the dog. The dog's head hit the asphalt and it lay on the ground, unconscious.

Bystanders were unable to get a license plate number for the car, but there is a $300 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved with the incident.
