A 15 by 30-foot garage on 2800 Curtis Street burned to the ground last night.
The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to the fire as the garage was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters extinguished the fire in 15 minutes, protecting nearby structures.
The garage was used to house tools and construction equipment with an estimated loss in damages from $30,000 to $40,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
