At 2:05 a.m the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at the 3300 block of Pinewood Ave.
The victim, 18-year-old Jaylain Ballard, suffered two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital before police arrived.
When police arrived at the hospital, the victim refused to cooperate. More suspect information is available.
