A person was shot after a confrontation at Booker T. Washington State Park Sunday evening.
The incident occurred at or near the basketball courts, according to a press release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. However, investigators believe the shooting may have taken place on Webb Road inside Chattanooga city limits.
An unnamed victim was later found in stable condition after he left the scene, according to the release.
It is unclear at this time whether the shooting was gang related, and the victim will not be released yet as an investigation is ongoing.
Investigators are currently seeking a suspect.
