Cascades MotelA man was found dead Sunday in an East Ridge motel, police confirmed Monday.
A report from the East Ridge Police Department said Geno Pickett was unclothed and had apparent face/head injuries when emergency responders found him unresponsive on the bathroom floor of a room at Cascade Motel on Ringgold Road.
Numerous law enforcement vehicles were seen in the hotel's parking lot late Sunday morning responding to the incident.
The initial call to police came from a woman who told dispatchers that, "her boyfriend was laid out."
Pickett's body was taken to the Medical Examiner's office, and evidence was collected from the scene for police to process.
