Someone started a fire on purpose in Walker County, investigators say.
According to a release from the state's Insurance and Safety Fire Commission, the fire began around 4:20 a.m. in the 1200 block of Dunwoody Road in LaFayette. The house was empty, and someone started the fire in the den, causing about $20,000 worth of damage.

The release states hotline calls are taken 24 hours a day and callers can remain anonymous.
