Police arrest another suspect in the shooting death of Kenneth Shaw

A Dawson, Alabama man was arrested for the 2015 shooting murder of 48-year-old Kenneth DeWayne Shaw

Officers originally arrested Casey Adam Jones, 39, of Rosalie, shortly after the murder, but said at the time two other persons of interest were being pursued.

Dakota Lane Gore, 20, was arrested today after a grand jury indicted him for Shaw's murder, according to a news release from the Sheriff of Dekalb County.

Gore was arrested after a short car chase in which he jumped out of the vehicle and ran into the woods.

In addition to murder, he was also charged with resisting arrest and attempt to elude.

Dekalb Sheriff Jimmy Harris thanked the U.S. Marshals, the Rainsville Police Department, the Sylvania Police Department for their assistance in solving Shaw's killing.
