A third defendant has been sent to the grand jury for allegedly setting off fireworks inside Hamilton Place mall to cover up shoplifting.

Hamilton County General Sessions Court Judge Lila Statom said Wednesday that Darrisha Landmon waived her right to have a preliminary hearing, and she bound over the 26-year-old's charges of reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and theft of property over $500.

Landmon's case will go to Hamilton County Criminal Court if the grand jury returns an indictment.

Police say Landmon, Diamond Jones, Reese Cosby and Garrian King set off a handful of firecrackers inside the Victoria's Secret PINK store on Dec. 26, 2016, to distract customers while they stole $1,000 in merchandise. The ensuing pandemonium injured three mall shoppers and shielded their escape. But authorities tracked them down using video footage and King's GPS tracker, which placed him around Hamilton Place during the incident.

Jones and Cosby waived their rights to a preliminary hearing in January and were sent to the grand jury. Their cases are pending. King, who also had a scheduled appearance before Statom on Wednesday, had his case moved to April 19.
