Judge in Pilot Flying J orders ranking of the guilty by degree of criminal deeds

U.S. District Judge Curtis L. Collier has issued that order to federal prosecutors as the 17 former executives and staffers of the truck stop giant convicted in a plot to rip off truckers and grow Pilot Flying J's market share and profits prepare to learn their fates.

Collier's unusual order came after a jury in his courtroom in U.S. District Court in Chattanooga on Feb. 15 served up conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud convictions for former Pilot Flying J President Mark Hazelwood and ex-staffer Heather Jones.
