Police say a man accused of killing his former employer with a hatchet on Monday "admitted in detail" to carrying out the homicide once he was arrested Tuesday night.

Domenic Micheli, 36, was taken into custody in Bowling Green, Kentucky, after being at large for nearly two days in the killing of Joel Paavola, 46, who was fatally attacked Monday morning.

A citizen tip led to his arrest Tuesday night by troopers with the Kentucky State Police.
