Dolly Parton paid a visit to Dollywood on Friday to talk about the park's new nightly fall event Pumpkin LumiNights, its Christmas offerings and her new children's album set for release in September.

Parton addressed media and several attendees Friday morning inside Dollywood's Celebrity Theater. The event also included a live performance of "Coat of Many Colors" from Parton and young Dollywood performer Tori Smith and a demonstration of some of the lights, effects and characters in the park's Christmas Parade of Many Colors.

As a part of her visit to Pigeon Forge, Parton plans to have a park parade if the weather cooperates on Saturday, according to Dollywood's website.
