Alabama: Three charged with burglary

Police arrested two men and a woman in DeKalb County and accused them of twice burglarizing their neighbors' home.

Jessica Diane Rowell, 19; Stephen Wayne Gray, 19; and Hoyt Rowell Jr., 43, were charged with third-degree burglary, Sheriff Jimmy Harris said in a news release.

Cindy Michelle Maynor, 43, also was arrested but was charged with second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, Harris said.

All four are in the DeKalb County Jail awaiting bond, and all the stolen items were returned to the owners, authorities said.

A burglary was reported in the Grove Oak area Tuesday night and residents said a chainsaw, pressure washer and other tools were taken, Harris said.

The victim told authorities where burglars might live and a sheriff's investigator went to the home to question them, Harris said.

When the investigator arrived, he saw some of the stolen items and, after searching the property, found toys reported stolen from the same victim in August, Harris said.
