Imagine my surprise and delight when my flight arrived in Chattanooga and I was met with gifts, good cheer and charming greeters. I walked away with a song in my heart. At the escalator to go to baggage claim, the children's choir was performing with wonderful Christmas music. All their families were there along with busy travelers being treated to lovely sounds.
I don't know who was responsible for all the joy provided, but I do want to send out a warm thank you for this special treat. My daughter is Deidre Sumida, a local resident, and I live in California. I have been to the Chattanooga airport many times, but this beats it all. In fact, in all my travels, I have never experienced such a welcome. Thank you, Chattanooga.
