I was shopping at Aldi's one Saturday afternoon when I realized I had left my debit card at home. I had some cash on me and only planned to buy three items. Of course, I put more than three items in my buggy. I got in line, looked for my card and realized I had forgotten it.
The store was crazy busy -- people everywhere -- and all lines were open. I didn't want people to think that I was nuts, so I mentioned that I had left my card at home and needed to see what I was going to put back.
When I got up to the cashier, she told me that the gentleman and his wife in front of me had paid for my groceries. I just want to thank that couple for their kindness.
