Thank you, Fort Oglethorpe First Presbyterian

The Rev. Doyle Allen, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Fort Oglethorpe, wanted to include his neighbor, the 6th Cavalry Museum, in a church-wide week of community service. The church is located in the original chapel of the Army post at Fort Oglethorpe (1902-1947).

Parishioner Mike Tuggle accepted the challenge and pulled together a landscape crew to weed and beautify the Memorial Garden at the Army post's flagpole.

On behalf of all the veterans and their families who pay their respects at the Memorial Garden, we thank you.

Kyle Russell, 6th Cavalry Museum president
