Pediatrician Dr. Robin Balser had a great idea about taking care of the many families she sees at Erlanger's Dodson Avenue Community Health Center. Why not give each child a book? It's a little bit of distraction therapy and stress reliever for the child and family.

Well, thanks to the members of East Brainerd's Christ United Methodist Church, hundreds of books came pouring into the clinic. Thank you, Becky Hall, the director of ministries at the church, and Dr. Balser for reading between the lines. The children love their presents.

Thank you,

The staff at Dodson Avenue Community Health Center
