The Out to Lunch Group of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Ooltewah recently met for its monthly Dutch Treat Lunch at the First Watch Restaurant on Gunbarrel Road. As the seven of us were preparing to pay our checks, our waitress told us a young couple had paid for our lunches - including a tip.

We were totally flabbergasted and had no idea what prompted that incredibly wonderful example of paying it forward. One of the group suggested it might have been because we prayed before we ate.

Whatever the reason, we felt very blessed. Since the couple left before we could thank them, this Good Deed story is our way of doing that.
