The Hamilton County Commission is going to take a closer look at how River City Company oversees housing PILOTS.
Commission Chairman Jim Fields today asked Greg Beck, who leads the commission's Building and Economic Development Committee, to review River City Company's process and "return to the commission with a recommendation."
It's unclear what prompted the request, but it comes after much debate last week over the narrow approval of River City's $800,000 housing payment-in-lieu-of-tax agreement for a pair of four-story apartment buildings at 500 Lindsey Street.
