Tusculum College senior wide receiver Justin Houston from Bradley Central High School was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Super Region Two first team for 2015. The 5-foot-8, 170-pound Houston was a second-team choice in 2014. This year he led the South Atlantic Conference in receptions for the third season in a row, averaging 9.6 per game, and tied a school single-season record with nine receiving touchdowns. He caught 106 passes, second in school history to his 110 in 2013, and has the TC and SAC record for career receptions with 322, fourth most in Division II history. Houston also holds Pioneers career records with 3,182 receiving yards, 68 kickoff returns, 4,622 all-purpose yards and 13 games of 100 or more receiving yards.

* In other Tusculum football news Tuesday, Frankie DeBusk is out as head coach after 18 years at the Greeneville, Tenn., school. A Greeneville native, he was a star quarterback at Furman in the late 1980s and early 1990s and was an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before becoming the Pioneers' head coach. DeBusk came to UTC in 1993 and was the offensive coordinator in 1997 when the Mocs went 7-4. His Tusculum tenure included SAC championships in 2003 and 2008, a spot in the NCAA playoffs in 2008 and a 96-100 overall record. The Pioneers went 4-7 with a 2-5 league record in 2015. Three of DeBusk's players were finalists for the Harlon Hill Trophy for Division II's player of the year, and 27 of his Pioneers went on to play professionally, including five in the NFL. DeBusk doubled up as Tusculum's athletic director from 2007 to this past August.
