Georgia football coach Mark Richt on Monday announced promotions for assistants Bryan McClendon and Tracy Rocker.

McClendon has been elevated to assistant head coach and will continue to work with running backs and serve as recruiting coordinator. Rocker is now the associate head coach and will remain in charge of the defensive line.

The two are expected to receive raises as well, but no financial terms have been disclosed.

McClendon, a 2002-05 receiver for the Bulldogs, has been Georgia's running backs coach since February 2009 and was named recruiting coordinator last year. He has coached three Freshman All-Americans: Isaiah Crowell (2011), Todd Gurley (2012) and Nick Chubb (2014).

Rocker was named defensive line coach last January after spending three seasons in the same role with the Tennessee Titans. He won the Outland Trophy and Lombardi Award as an Auburn senior in 1988 and was Auburn's defensive line coach in 2010 when the Tigers won the national championship.
