The Southern Conference announced its telecast schedule for the 2015 football season Monday, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has five games that will be shown by the American Sports Network or ESPN3.

The Mocs' Sept. 19 date against Samford in Birmingham will be the first game shown on ASN, which is a group of stations owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, reaching close to 40 percent of all television households in the United States, with 167 stations in 77 markets. A list of ASN affiliates will be announced each week.

UTC also will have four games in a five-week span that will be shown on online-based ESPN3: the Furman and Western Carolina games at Finley Stadium on Oct. 10 and Oct. 31; the Virginia Military Institute game in Lexington, Va., on Oct. 17; and the Mercer game in Macon, Ga., on Nov. 7.

ESPN3 can be accessed on Xbox Live and the WatchESPN app that is available on smartphones and tablets. The app is also available through Apple TV and Roku video players.

UTC's Sept. 26 game at Presbyterian in Clinton, S.C., likely will be available online on the Big South Network. The Mocs' game at Florida State on Nov. 21 in Tallahassee will be available on the ACC Network.

In addition, all of the games will be shown on the Southern Conference digital network, which had 114,027 viewers who watched a variety of events during its first season of launch. Football had the highest average viewership.
