UTC's Alyssa Taylor, left, and Anyssa Robles celebrate retiring the side in the second inning of their 3-1 win over Campbell University in the Frost Classic finale at Jim Frost Stadium on Sunday.

Anyssa Robles' two-out bloop single to left-center field in the bottom of the 10th scored Nicole Osterman and gave the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga softball team a 5-4 win over Western Carolina in the Southern Conference tournament at Frost Stadium on Thursday.

Robles and Sam Taylor each finished 2-for-5 for the day, while Jesslyn Stockard had a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth that at the time gave the Mocs (33-13) a 3-2 lead. The Catamounts answered in the seventh with a run to send the game into extra innings.
The international tiebreaker rule came into affect in the 10th inning, which puts the final batter of the previous inning on second base. The Catamounts used that to take a 4-3 lead on a RBI single by Courtney Price that scored Kara Salvo.

In the bottom half of the inning, Sarah Beth Roberts started at second, but on the first pitch of the inning, Osterman had a double to right-center field. She was sacrificed to third base by Criket Blanco, and after a strikeout by Stockard, Robles got a bat on a pitch and poked it to the outfield for the game-winning hit.

Cori Jennings got the win for the Mocs, who turned four double plays in the game. Jordan Garrett pitched six innings and struck out six, but took the loss.

The Mocs play in the semifinals Friday morning at 10 a.m.
